  The flexible Elegant Berkey® program is the ideal program for use at home with large family members, travel, outside actions or during surprising emergency situations. This highly effective program cleans both handled water and without treatment raw water from such sources as remote lakes, sources, flat lakes and water supplies in foreign countries, where rules may be poor at best. Perfect for outside actions and a must in aggressive surroundings where power, water pressure or handled water may not be available. The Elegant Berkey® program eliminates pathogenic bacteria, growths and harmful bacteria entirely and ingredients harmful substances such as weed killers, bug sprays, VOCs, organic substances, radon 222 and trihalomethanes. It also decreases nitrates, nitrites and harmful nutrients such as lead and mercury. This program is so highly effective it can eliminate red food shading from water without eliminating the beneficial nutrients your body needs. Virtually no other program can copy this performance. Constructed of highly refined 304 stainless-steel, the program comes complete with two filtration components and uses the latest technical developments. This program has a storage capacity of about 3.25 gallons (12.3 liters) and when in use it appears 23″ in size with a size of 9.5″. The upper stage nests within the lower stage for transportation and appears only 15.25″ in size.
  Configured with two Black Berkey® filtration components the program will cleanse up to 4 Gallons (15.1 liters) per hour*. This program can be extended to use four filtration components and is capable of cleaning up to 8 Gallons (30.3 liters) hourly.
